On the west coast are the isolated beaches of Anse Soleil and Anse Petite Polis (you'll need a jeep to get here), but these palm-lined beaches and a sea teeming with marine life are well worth it. If you like to wander along the beach alone, then come to Anse Intedanse beach, which is absolutely unsuitable for swimming due to high waves, but here you can wander and enjoy the majestic and formidable beauty of this place and peer into the distance. Buses from Victoria go to all parts of the island.
