In 1989, 3 ships were deliberately sunk: in October - a dredge, in February - 2 barges serving it. The places where they are flooded are called: Dredger wreck and Two Barges. They are located close to each other next to Fisherman's Cove on the northeast coast of Mahe. Here, not far from the coast, there are numerous places for diving both on coral reefs and in rocks. The dredge is almost always covered with schools of blue striped snappers. When approaching it, you are convinced that it has become a haven for many species of scorpions and sculpins, and especially moray eels. Two barges sunk close to each other can be visited in one dive. Almost the same variety of fauna living in them.
